Interdisciplinary queer artist Monica Joy uses intricate line and thoughtful imagery to convey artwork which resonates to the significance of being alive. Monica's work explores themes such as appreciation for everyday life, fostering connections, and complexities in queer identity. Their work ranges in media from ceramics and installation, to drawing and painting. Proceeding the Bealart Specialization program, Monica has been a resident artist of Good Sport Gallery & Studio since 2020. They have exhibited in numerous galleries and art spaces, most recently Museum London.
