VACANT-promoimage-v2.jpg

This text based piece addresses the virtual death of downtown, as the historical core of the city remains in holding, undeveloped and uninhabitable under the ownership of one of London and surrounding areas' wealthiest landlords.

The artwork makes reference to a recently approved 40-story tower set to be built on Ridout Street. While London's population of houseless remain with minimal access to basic amenities including sanitary washrooms and safe injection sites, luxury housing -- which will never be accessible to the major communities that reside here- get prioritized to the evolving landscape of the city.
